    hey i was just wondering, what are your guyses favorite kind of drum brains to use for e kits. im converting my acoustic for many reasons and ill inevitably need to buy one. holla!

    Roland and Yamaha are probably the most popular module brands in the edrum world. I use Yamaha DTXtreme II and DTXtreme III modules on my kit, but would suggest you visit your local music stores and play all you can to determine what features you like best. ABC

    Anything with synapses and neuron transmitters oughta do it.

    (I am afterall a brain surgeon)

    what about that new roland td-4 brain that just came out for 300 or so? heard anything

    I think what you find by dropping down in price might be lack of features and functions. If spending less on the drum brain, be sure to test it and that it will deliver samples that are usable.
