We finally started up our band!

Hey guys

We finally started up our band, and had our first practise the other day We can already play a few songs by Blink 182, Nirvana, Greenday and a few others and it sounds quite good.

Im always looking for ways to improve my drumming and am kinda stuck on what to learn to get better. Atm im selft taught and have just been looking at people play covers and playing along to songs. Is there something else i should do? im not really sure....

Any help would be awesome

This also may sound like an extremely stupid question, but my drums have a fair few stick marks expecially on my snare.... there fairly deep dints.. just wondering if this is normall.. or ive damaged my drums from hitting to hard??
