currently i have what appears to be an old 11 3/4" LP.
    bought from craigslist.
it has a decent sound, only it's a bit ringy.
i have been offered a set of 3 barely used aspires with stand for 350.
not sure whether to go for it or hold out for a better line.

i have my second lesson tomorrow.
and have been trying to immerse myself into the culture as much as possible.
just looking for methods/techniques to help me advance.
any advice about all things congas would be helpful.

    thanks to you all.

So that's one stand for two drums but the other drum has no stand?

    that would be correct,
    one stand for two.

i don't think they make a three drum stand,
    do they?

not sure how i feel about stands anyway.
would rather get the rubber feet.

Ya, mine came with three black stands with the rubber feet. I like them because I'm tall and find that standing works better for me but everyone has a preference of either sitting or standing.
