    when I had two BD's I liked it! plain and simple...did I use both all the time...NO..but I HAD THE OPTION! now when I was playing....double pedals where a fantasy..never saw one or heard of one...that being said...if they were available back then, I may have gone that way...double bass still to me...looks awesome on stage..IMHO.

    Like practically everything in drumming, having a double pedal is pure preference. Some people can do amazing things with just one foot, while others (like me) need 2 to accomplish the patterns I want at times. That said, you simply cannot do with 1 pedal what you can with 2 at some level of BPMs, no matter how Bonham-ish you may play. I like having the option to go to the second pedal at times, but most times I'd rather have that foot on the hi-hat. Preferences.
