Nothing you can do about it unless you live near the manufacturer and get them to re-stamp them. Or like iamanidiot said, Sharpie it. Sorry.

It's not the end of the world. Cymbals get old and lose their logos from cleaning. Some people really dig the look of it, it's real vintage. I think it looks pretty cool, and might as well learn to accept it for what it is. You may decide later you are into logoless, clean cymbals and turn over a new leaf in your kit's appearance. Is it an older cymbal?

Always worth checking with the manufacturer. They are sometimes quite accommodating of their users. I have had the Zildjian folks who were near where I used to live (in Massachusetts) refurbish an old cymbal for me (took cracked large crash and refurbished it into smaller crash). That said, for a re-inking, if they are accommodating, possible this may come with a charge and also time without the cymbal (as you likely would need to send it to them depending on location).

I'm a guy who likes to keep my cymbals nice and shiny. I polish around the logos as long as I can, just because it makes the cymbal look newer (for whatever that's worth). When it starts to wear, I will eventually polish it off. After all Zildjian isn't paying me a penny to advertise for them. The etched in logo on the cymbal will always be proof as to what brand it is. If you have so many that you have a hard time keeping track of what series they are, start a file and make notes and take pictures if it means that much to you. (It's a good idea to do for insurance purposes anyway.) Just one drummers opinion.

Is that something that has to be purchased on-line? I have never seen them available in a music store.

I sharpied the Sabian logo back on to my old AA, I reckon I did an all right job, but I had the advantage of not caring how it turned out:

Dude, it's the sound that matters, not the look. The sound of the cymbal would be the same with or without the logo. So what's the ****** problem?

So presumably, you wouldn't mind if someone sneaked into your house at night, and painted your drumkit brown, pink, and flourescent green swirls, and drew male genitalia on your cymbals, cause it would still sound the same, yeah?

I started drumming in an era when the cymbals didn't have gigantic ink logos stamped on them. I'm pretty OK with or without them. Once it is gone, I wouldn't bother myself too much trying to re-do it.

    all the best...

True...all of my '80s era Zildjian A cymbals were only outlined in ink with the Zidjian name on both sides of the cymbal. The top sides have been wiped clean, the bottoms still have the outlined logo....may try to preserve them that way....
