    Default drop clutch

    ok, this is a lame question, but i just got a DW drop clutch and i'm not sure how to mount it. anyone?

    The bottom part that has the felt pads on it mounts directly to your top high hat. Then the top part with the arm slides down over the high hat stem , latches on to the bottom part and will adjust as usual for how much you want your hats open. Then just hit the lever with your stick, it drops the top hat so you can use both of your feet for bass, then the next time you step on the hat pedal, it latches back into place. Hope that helps.

    Nuff Said I just got the new Pearl, it uses rubber washers instead of felt

    For adouble pedals you can hit it with your stick and your hats lock shut so you can use hats with the double pedal and not just a ride.

    Also if you look at both Pearl and DW clutch they are the same but arm is different. Nuff Said

    Cool, I had no idea what a drop clutch wast until this post.

    I wish I had a double bass pedal.
