Don't have to have the most talent to play good music.

I would imagine that literally every 1 of us has liked a song that was done by a band that was not the "most talented" band playing at the time.

Its amazing that they have been playing the same beat for all these years, and people still love them.

I doubt that they worry about it as they climb into their Mercedes and head back to their mansions.

i gotta agree with Yohin,, he is very talented and has influenced a ton of hip-hop artists , BUT ,, this goes to show you that you can be influencial and still be a butt hole ,,,, it happens often,,,

As long as there are people out there that buy simple music, they and the Justin Beiber's of the world will be rich

Then it was a pretty ignorant statement. I don't even like hip hop so I'm being unbiased here. You gotta give credit where credit is due. Every few decades there's a musical revolution that completely changes everything, and hip hop was one of those. After hip hop it was electronic music. Before hip hop it was rock, before that jazz.

Just because you don't like a genre of music doesn't mean it has no credibility or influence.

He may have talent, but it'd probably be apreciated more if his attitude was different. I'm not a fan of that style of music at all so I pay little attention to him regardless of what he does. Personally I think he is a waste of time. What I believe is really sad is there are so many incredible artists and bands out there that hardly get recognized and then we have stuff like Justin Beiber that gets tons of attention.

You guys know the difference between Kanye West and God right?

God doesn't claim to be Kanye West.

Somewhat an assumption that because their music is straight ahead that they have less talent than anyone else.

Well I can only go by what they show me. When you you play the same beat for 40 years to almost every song, with lyrics that are among the most simple, assumptions will be made.

I get the point that if it works and people keep lining up to buy it, then don't fix it. It just doesn't show any growth as an artist.

Get a look at the crowd, the engagement and the energy. When I, you or anyone else for that matter can equal that...........we can then stand in judgment. Until then, I think that we can agree that these guys are Rock & Roll Royalty. That is all:

I decided to look up Kanye West, because I knew very little about his accomplishments. I must say; the guy deserves credit. He's certainly been a driving force in the record industry. I was also reminded of all his tantrums, insults, idiotic statements and actions through the years. I think his cheese slid off his cracker.
