Oh wow, wouldn't expect that out of a smaller rig. Very flattering! Wishing you all the best in future shows with it.

Nice and clean setup as usual.

I keep forgetting to take a shot at one of the small gigs I've been playing, but I'm using a very similar setup currently, 20x18, 12x9, 14x11.

I've been meaning to ask, how much lighter is the 6000 series hardware than the 9000 series, really?

The only two constants I have are DW and Zildjian.

Did some home studio recording the other day. I didn't realize how great of a shot this was until I got home. Took it with my cell phone. Love how it came out and gives a different look for my set.

Wow!! Nice pic!! You got a great camera built into your cell phone. After I sat and looked at your set-up, I noticed how close it looked like mine! I took this pic with my phone too but your pic turned out better!! Thanks for posting up!!

Cool set up! Yeah they do look very familiar. I've always played with two racks and thought the 2 up 2 down configuration was really neat. I like pitch variety in my music. Everything is super easy to access I think, it's very natural.

Although I'm thinking about getting an individual stand for my rack toms as opposed to mounting it off my crash stand and moving that slightly left. But of course once you move something small, you have to re-organize everything else.

What happened to your other Rototom? Did you take it out to make room for your crash?

Correct sir! The kit is set up in a small home recording studio owned by a friend who asked me to track some drums on his original music. It's also where I hang out and jam every week with a bunch of old guys with nothing better to do but make great tunes. We eat, play a little, eat some more, play a little. Great fun!
