What kind of band do you play with mate. I have to say if its a standard rock combo (Drums, Guitar, Bass, Vocal, maybe keyboards) would your drummer not be better off just listening to the recording???

Just become familiar with the song. LISTEN!!!!!! Use your Ear. Practice to it with and without music. Listen to other Skynyrd songs. They will help you feel the drumming style. Most drummers have "go to" patterns.
