Bish - your place is a drummer's freakin playground!! Some day I'm gonna make a trip just to dig on your stuff.

Proudly playing:
Doc Sweeney Drums
A bunch of snares
A bunch of cymbals
Off-Set double pedals
I think I love to play the drums simply because you get to hit 'em!!!
It might be a bit of a drive but I'd be honored. Bring Rich, too.
Spaz, Just to put things into perspective. I have grand kids older than your darling little girl. I've been at this a long time. It didn't happen over night. I am the builder and sole owner if this current house and it was designed around 3 daughters needing their space. The basement was the bonus for me.
None the less, thank you both for your kind words.

I love it. Classic configuration.
I hardily recommend re-wrapping those old shells. Really bring em back to life. About $150 and several hours alone with music playing while you disassemble, wrap, and reassemble.

Hi!
I'm new here. I played drums in middle and high school, but then took off 30+ years to be bass player. I recently got the urge to drum again, but didn't want to dive in too deep, in case it didn't work out. So I bought a Ddrum kit, and a set of Meinl MCS cymbals for starters.
Well, I've been having a blast, and after a couple months I upgraded to better cymbals, and a DW snare and double kick pedal. Here's the kit:
